PTA licensure is effect Dec. 01, 2014…what happens to the PTA’s who’s licenses applications are still in process by the state after this date? We cannot practice / work. Can we apply for unemployment ? Is there any way to get an extension? I sent in my application in early November and it is still pending, now I am not able to work. Is there anything HAPTA can do for all the PTA’s who sent in their applications, but due to processing by the state, we are still pending out license?
