Our APTA Board of Director’s liaison Carolyn Oddo and staff liaison Elizabeth Grotos will join us for the 2016 HAPTA Fall Conference, which starts on Saturday, November 12, at 8 a.m. at REHAB Hospital of the Pacific in Honolulu. In between, we’ll offer a 12 CCU stroke management course presented by Marghuretta Bland on, with a Chapter Meeting lunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The stroke course will conclude at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Oddo will kick off the conference with a talk about APTA initiatives, the new PT evaluation codes and dry needling in Hawaii. Grotos will close the conference weekend on Monday, November 14 with a strategic planning session from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the REHAB board room. This strategic planning event is free and open to all HAPTA members. We welcome the direction and expertise of each participant, in drafting powerful plans for the future of HAPTA and the profession of physical therapy in Hawaii.

HAPTA is ready to celebrate PT Month in October 2016! We’ve got so much planned in October and November, from hikes to PT Day of Service, our Fall Conference and strategic planning event. We hope you will be there – our strength grows with our numbers!
